Our Directors
When you work with UDM’s Directors you are partnering with well-known and highly regarded professionals in the industry. Professionals who are recognised for their breadth and depth of experience.
Each director specialises in a particular discipline. Collectively they complement each other’s expertise, so that you get the best level of service across all disciplines.
Tom has over twenty years of experience in both private consultancy and the development industry. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in residential, commercial and industrial developments. With a highly experienced engineering design background, his expertise is a valuable asset to the firm. Tom has a results-based reputation that marks him as a leader in the industry.
Areas of Specialty: Civil engineering, project management, development management, due diligence investigation, acquisition feasibility analysis and property acquisition and disposal strategies.
Strategically focused on: Value engineering, and delivering to budget and program.
Anthony is another highly accomplished director with over twenty years of experience in the land development industry. He brings with him 10 years of experience as a civil contractor and has an extensive engineering design background. Therefore, you receive expert guidance on elements such as construction supervision, project management and contractual obligations. His broader industry experience means that elements of your project, such as understanding specifications, contracts, tendering, variation and cost estimates, are all handled expertly by us.

Julie is recognised for the knowledge and skills that come with more than twenty years of experience in the development industry in both the public and private sectors. She has extensive experience as a planning consultant to major developers, local government and state government. This, combined with her work in local government ensures that your projects are planned with excellence and care, on budget and within deadline.
Her skills in statutory and strategic planning have seen her receive acclaim for award winning projects such as: Delfin Caroline Springs Estate 2005 UDIA Master Planned Community Award; Central Equity’s Woodland Waters in Mernda (2010 best residential project of more than 250 lots); DFC’s Rose Grange (2004 best residential development of more than 250 lots) and many more.

Our Highly Experienced Team Leaders
David has a civil engineering, construction and property development background that spans more than 20 years. He brings with him expertise obtained from his work for developers, private consultancies and government agencies. He has a comprehensive knowledge of property development principles for land subdivision and medium density projects.
Areas of Speciality: Development and Project Management, financial and program control, contract and risk management.
Strategically focused on: Managing your project through all phases of development from due diligence through to construction and marketing.
Melinda brings to your project 20 years of experience garnered from working with leading planning and urban design firms. Her well regarded profile within the development industry and her relationships with state government agencies, local government and developers are a testament to her efficacy in urban design and planning.
Experience through her comprehensive knowledge of urban design principles and strategic planning processes includes:

- Integration of broad scale issues with site-specific solutions
- Flexible and varied analytical and design skills to address various situations.

Bill is a highly motivated civil engineer and project manager with over 17 years in private sector land development and 18 years in local government in both urban and rural municipalities. He is well-respected within the urban development industry by his peers, authorities & agencies, contractors and clients and has project-managed design & construction activities for many large residential developments in suburban Melbourne.
Areas of Speciality: Design team and project management, feasibility and due diligence
